The Roffle Club // Edinburgh preview with Penny Dreadfuls

The second Roffle Club was a roaring success – mad love to everyone who came and filled the South Gallery to bursting point and enjoyed the sketch and character stylings of Angelos Epithemiou, Pippa Evans, The Three Englishmen, Dave McNeill and ourselves. London is Funny recommended us, Time Out very kindly made us their Critics’ Choice, and Remote Goat came along and gave us a lovely ★★★★★ review (‘Off the wall and wonderful’) which can be found here.

Also – we’re hitting the Canal Café on March 21st to preview some material for the new show, alongside everyone’s favourite formerly-Victorian comedy trio The Penny Dreadfuls! Very excited. More details to follow, but the Canal Café listing is right here.

Sold out sketch fun with Idiots of Ants! Now on to the 19th…

On Feb 3rd we kicked off the long and harrowing road to Edinburgh in fine style, with ‘Idiots of Ants Presents Max and Iván’ at the Etcetera Theatre! Us and those loveable Idiots did half an hour each of terrifyingly new material, and the (sold out!) audience were bloody fantastic! So either we picked an unnaturally loved-up audience or we’ve got a fat old chunk of the new show sorted…to find out, come along to the Etcetera on the 19th, where we’ll be doing the whole thing for the first time! All info here!

The Roffle Club

Hello People Of The Internet,

Max and Iván’s alter egos Los Guapos have taken their debauched comedy night to the Proud Galleries in Camden. This time with their very own Rock/Folk band to accompany them! We’ve got a great set of five-star acts, in an awesome venue – so come along!

Check out our Live section for more details.

Visit The Roffle Club Website to see what its all about.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

Hello internet!

What an exciting bout of e-rejuvenation, taking place like all good things in life do; at 4.50am. The website’s had a nice subtle facelift – nothing too trashy though, more like Louis Walsh’s tasteful eye-bag removal than Rupert Everett’s terrifying waxy death mask.

Stay tuned – bare comedy news coming your way, blud. And by you I mean *you*. Yeah, you.
